With all the disruptions to the 2020 racing calendar due to COVID, we knew the Pittwater Challenge was going to be a sell-out event. 150 registered paddlers descended on beautiful Bayview eager to get in the water. The field was definitely hot for the usually low-key local event. The Allwave Racing Team performed their absolute bests; Jackson Collins in the DNA winning the overall 14km long course , Cade Barnes first in the over 40’s and 4th overall, again in the DNA, and Montannah Murray placing third in the women’s on the DNA 580. Well done to everyone who participated. It was such a joy to see paddles in the water again!
